TORONTO — Super spare Linda Stenlund is moving over to Alpine Curling Club.

Stenlund filled in on Frontier Curling Club for the previous three days of Rock League's round-robin action as Stefania Constantini headed home to Italy for a prior commitment.

With Constantini back and in the lineup Friday, Stenlund will now shift over to Alpine for the remainder of the week as Almida de Val is returning to Sweden for a private family matter.

Stenlund will make her Alpine debut against Typhoon Curling Club, throwing lead on the European-based franchise's women's team. Sofia Scharback will take over for de Val on the mixed doubles team with Oskar Eriksson.

Stenlund, who plays alongside de Val on tour with skip Isabella Wranå, captured a bronze medal at the World Women's Curling Championship last month and won the 2023 Players' Championship at the TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre.
