Shield Curling Club roster revealed for inaugural Rock League season

Brad Jacobs is ready to take charge of Shield Curling Club for the inaugural season of Rock League.

Jacobs was named one of six captains when the professional league was announced last April.

He will lead one of the Canadian-based franchises.

Here's a look at the full roster:

Brad Jacobs (Captain, Sault Ste. Marie, Canada): Jacobs is the 2014 Olympic gold medallist and will represent Canada for a second time at the Winter Olympics in 2026. The Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., native has won seven Grand Slam of Curling men's championships. He captured his second Brier title in 2025 and earned bronze at the World Men's Curling Championship.

Jake Horgan (Mississauga, Canada): Horgan throws third stones for skip John Epping on tour. He has represented Northern Ontario twice at the Brier. Horgan was a semifinalist at the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship playing with Kira Brunton.

Tyler Tardi (Calgary, Canada): Tardi earned his first Grand Slam of Curling title at the 2023 Players' Championship with Team Koe. He skipped Canada to back-to-back gold medals at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2018 and 2019. Tardi will serve as the alternate for the Canadian men's team at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Dan Marsh (Saskatoon, Canada): Marsh has made four Brier appearances and earned silver in 2024 with Team McEwen. He captured the Tour Challenge Tier 2 title in 2018 with Team Muyres.

Colton Lott (Winnipeg Beach, Canada): Lott won his first Grand Slam of Curling title at the Masters in 2025 with Team Dunstone and has earned two silver medals at the Brier. He won back-to-back gold medals at the Canadian Mixed Doubles Championship with his wife, Kadriana Lott, in 2024 and 2025.

Kerri Einarson (Gimli, Canada): Einarson is a six-time Grand Slam of Curling title winner. She captured four consecutive Scotties Tournament of Hearts titles from 2020-23 and earned bronze medals at the 2022 and 2023 World Women's Curling Championship. Einarson won the Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship with Brad Gushue in 2021.

Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, Canada): Fleury has won 11 Grand Slam of Curling titles, including two as a skip. She has captured back-to-back Scotties Tournament of Hearts titles and World Women's Curling Championship gold medals with skip Rachel Homan. Fleury will make her Olympic debut at the 2026 Winter Games.

Agnes Knochenhauer (Stockholm, Sweden): Knochenhauer captured gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. She has earned a medal of every colour at the Olympics, earning silver in 2014 and bronze in 2022. Knochenhauer has won eight Grand Slam of Curling titles.

Marlee Powers (Halifax, Canada): Powers served as the alternate for Christina Black's team on tour, winning the Tour Challenge Tier 2 title in 2024. With Team Black, she finished runner-up in the 2025 Montana's Canadian Curling Trials. Powers earned silver at the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship playing with Luke Saunders.

Carole Howald (Langenthal, Switzerland): Howald is a six-time World Women's Curling Championship gold medallist, including three straight from 2021-23. She has won three Grand Slam of Curling titles. She will make a second appearance at the Winter Olympics for Switzerland in 2026.
