The six franchises are set for the inaugural season of Rock League.

The Curling Group announced Tuesday the players and GMs for its latest venture, curling's first professional league hitting the ice in April 2026.

Each franchise features five women's players and five men's players. The Curling Group said four import players were permitted per team for the first season to ensure competitive balance.

Rock League strategic advisors Jennifer Jones and John Morris selected the curlers and GMs for each roster.

“Building these rosters was an opportunity to showcase the incredible depth and diversity of curling talent around the world,” Jones said in a release. “Our goal was to create teams that are competitive, entertaining, and reflective of their home regions, while also ensuring a level playing field for the league’s first season. We believe these lineups set the foundation for an exciting new era in our sport.”

Morris added: “This was a chance to help shape something truly new for curling. The talent we’ve got here is energetic and seriously impressive. The dynamics of these new teams are going to lift the sport in a fresh way that fans haven’t seen before.”

The Curling Group said GMs will be responsible for roster management, coaching leadership, and day-to-day team operations.

Dates and locations for Rock League's 2026 and 2027 seasons will be announced this week.

Alina Pätz, Korey Dropkin, Rachel Homan, Bruce Mouat, Brad Jacobs and Chinami Yoshida were named captains of the six franchises when Rock League was announced last April.

A limited amount of Rock League merchandise is now available at The Rock Shop.
