Throughout his playing career, Chris Plys has long been one of the biggest fans of American curling.

And though he's still got one more world championship to play, the 38-year-old is set to transition into a new role as Frontier Curling Club's GM for the first-ever season of Rock League.

On a recent episode of the Broom Brothers podcast, Plys joined host John Cullen to share his excitement for so many top American players to be on the same team.

"I think just all of us in the States have been so passionate about growing the game and kind of working together. There's been kind of a sense of trying to support each other. I think you saw that after our Olympic Trials, our teams are really really passionate about just trying to further the program and further the sport in our country.  So I think kind of having everybody together on the American side, I'm excited to see it."
