Rock League Roster Updates
- Rock League’s inaugural season kicks off April 6-12, TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre, Toronto -
TORONTO (March 20, 2026) With less than three weeks to go until curling’s first professional league takes the ice, Rock League today announced the following roster updates to the inaugural six franchises.
Maple United:
- ADDING: Mike McEwen (CAN) – taking the place of Matt Dunstone
Shield Curling Club:
- ADDING: Benoit Schwarz-van Berkel (SUI) – taking the place of Tyler Tardi
- ADDING: Amos Mosaner (ITA) – taking the place of Colton Lott
Frontier Curling Club:
- ADDING: Colin Hufman (USA) – taking the place of E.J. Harnden
Super Spares:
Rock League is also introducing two super spares who will be on hand to join any of the franchises for the first season, should injuries or unforeseen circumstances arise:
- Linda Stenlund (SWE)
- Mattia Giovanella (ITA)
Initially announced Rock League athletes Matt Dunstone, Colton Lott, and Tyler Tardi have elected to take extended time off following a busy season and will not participate in the inaugural campaign. E.J. Harnden has also stepped away from the League to spend more time with his family.

The inaugural Rock League marks the start of a new era in professional curling, featuring six mixed-gender global franchises competing in the condensed preview season, taking place Monday, April 6–Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto.
