Rock League Ready to Hit the Ice in Toronto April 6–12, Marking a New Era of Professional Curling

TORONTO (APRIL 1, 2026) The countdown is on for the start of Rock League, as curling’s first professional league prepares to take the ice at TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, April 6-12. Fans in Canada and beyond will be able to catch every slide, sweep, and stone with comprehensive coverage worldwide, starting with the first games on Monday, April 6 at Noon ET on CBC Gem and RockChannel.com.
Six premier, global franchises will compete during the seven-day preview season: Alpine Curling Club, Frontier Curling Club, Maple United, Northern United, Shield Curling Club, and Typhoon Curling Club. Each franchise features five men’s curlers and five women’s curlers competing in four-player team matches (men's, women's, and mixed) and mixed doubles.
STREAMING AND BROADCAST
As previously announced, Canadian audiences will have access to more than 40 hours of live Rock League streaming coverage on CBC Sports’ digital platforms, including CBC Gem, cbcsports.ca, and the CBC Sports YouTube channel. In addition, coverage of the playoffs, semifinals, and championship matches will be broadcast nationally on CBC TV.
Rock League brings together an all-star cast of broadcasters and analysts who will provide around-the-rings coverage, including:
- Play-by-play: John Cullen and Tyler George
- Analysts: Jennifer Jones, Joanne Courtney, Mike Harris, and Chelsea Carey
- On-ice host: Devin Heroux and Matt Hamilton will deliver in-game interviews and behind-the-scenes insights from ice level
Additionally, fans can tune into RockChannel.com, as Joanne Courtney, John Morris, and Matt Hamilton join Devin Heroux on the Ringside Show for nightly pre-game and post-game coverage.
Outside of Canada, international fans can catch all games on RockChannel.com. A full list of international streaming and broadcast partners is available on RockLeague.com and will be updated as new partners are confirmed.

Full-event, weekend, and day passes are on sale now, along with single-game tickets starting at $19 CAD. Additionally, fans can upgrade their ticket to Rock League’s sheetside experience, getting closer to the action than ever. Tickets must be purchased separately through Ticketmaster, and the Sheet Side upgrade can then be purchased online or onsite at The Rock Shop.
